【大学院共通科目（ALA科目群）】2026 On-site Group Work Introduction: ダイキンTIC訪問（TIC Visit）

オンサイト実習は、同志社大学とダイキン工業株式会社との連携事業の一環として実施しています。同志社大学グローバル・リソース・マネジメント（GRM）の理念である「現場を訪れ、現地で現実に触れる」ことを重視したプログラムです。 文系・理系、学生・社会人という枠を超えて、大学院共通科目（アドバンスト・リベラルアーツ科目群）の「On-site Group Work Introduction」および「On-site Group Work」で、本学大学院生とダイキン工業の若手社員が共に学びます。

The On-site Group Work is conducted as part of a collaborative initiative between Doshisha University and Daikin Industries, Ltd. The program is founded on the philosophy of Doshisha University's Global Resource Management (GRM), which emphasizes the importance of “visiting the field and experiencing reality firsthand.” Through “On-site Group Work Introduction” and “On-site Group Work,” offered within the Advanced Liberal Arts course group, Doshisha graduate students and young employees of Daikin Industries learn together beyond the conventional boundaries of academic disciplines and professional backgrounds, including the distinctions between the humanities and sciences, and between students and working professionals.

　今年度のOn-site Group Workのテーマは、「Climate Actions and Clean Energy Transition in the European Union: Collaboration and Co-creation toward a Carbon Neutral Society」です。 8月に予定されているベルギー実習に向けた事前学習の一環として、今年もダイキン工業株式会社のTechnology Innovation Center（TIC）を訪問しました。

　　As part of the preparatory learning for the field study in Belgium scheduled for August, students participating in this year's On-site Group Work visited the Technology Innovation Center (TIC) of Daikin Industries, Ltd. The theme of the 2026 On-site Group Work is "Climate Actions and Clean Energy Transition in the European Union: Collaboration and Co-creation toward a Carbon Neutral Society." During the visit, students learned about Daikin's initiatives to achieve a carbon-neutral society.

　TICでは、カーボンニュートラル社会の実現に向けたダイキン工業の取り組みについてご紹介いただきました。
　特に印象的だったのは、社内外の多様な人々が自由に交流できる開放的な空間です。施設内には、部署や組織の垣根を越えたコミュニケーションを促進する工夫が数多く取り入れられており、Collaboration・Co-creationを通してイノベーションを生み出す環境づくりが実践されていました。

　また、ソーラーパネルの設置や徹底したごみ分別など、環境負荷の低減に向けた具体的な取り組みについても学びました。TICは、n-ZEB（net Zero Energy Building）として省エネルギー性能を追求した施設であり、環境性能評価制度であるLEED-NC（New Construction）Platinum認証を取得しています。建物そのものがサステナビリティを体現しており、環境への高い意識と先進的な取り組みを実感することができました。

　　One of the most impressive aspects of the TIC was its open and collaborative environment, where people from diverse backgrounds, both inside and outside the company, can interact freely. The facility incorporates numerous features designed to encourage communication across departmental and organizational boundaries, fostering innovation through collaboration and co-creation.

　　Students also learned about Daikin's specific efforts to reduce environmental impact, including the installation of solar panels and comprehensive waste-sorting practices. The TIC itself is a model of sustainability. Designed as an n-ZEB (net Zero Energy Building) with a strong focus on energy efficiency, the facility has earned LEED-NC (New Construction) Platinum certification, one of the highest standards in environmental performance assessment. Through the building's design and operation, students experienced firsthand Daikin's strong commitment to sustainability and its advanced environmental initiatives.

　また、ベルギー実習を前に、欧州で普及が進むヒートポンプ技術についても学びました。ヒートポンプは少ない電力で効率よく熱を移動させることで、化石燃料の使用削減に貢献する技術です。欧州では環境政策を背景に導入が拡大しており、ダイキン工業も技術開発を通じてカーボンニュートラル社会の実現に貢献しています。

　　In preparation for the upcoming field study in Belgium, students also learned about heat pump technology, which has been widely adopted across Europe. Heat pumps help reduce dependence on fossil fuels by transferring heat efficiently while consuming relatively little electricity. Supported by policies promoting decarbonization, their adoption has expanded rapidly throughout Europe. Daikin is contributing to the transition toward a carbon-neutral society through continuous technological innovation and development in this field.

　今回の訪問を通じて、欧州の脱炭素化政策やクリーンエネルギーへの移行について理解を深めるとともに、企業が持続可能な社会の実現に向けて果たす役割について学ぶ貴重な機会となりました。

　　The visit provided a valuable opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of European decarbonization policies and the clean energy transition, while also gaining insight into the important role that corporations play in building a sustainable future.

　今後、参加者たちは8月にベルギーで実施されるオンサイト実習において、今年度のテーマのもと、欧州での先進的な取り組みや政策について現地での学びを深めます。現地では、行政機関や企業、関連団体への訪問を通じて、脱炭素社会の実現に向けた具体的な施策や課題について理解を深める予定です。また、オンサイト実習で得られた知見をもとに、参加者はそれぞれの視点から課題を分析し、その解決策について検討を重ねます。そして、9月4日に開催される成果報告会では、現地実習を通じて見出した課題とその解決策について発表を行う予定です。

　　Participants will continue their learning during the on-site training program in Belgium this August, where they will engage with government agencies, companies, and related organizations to further explore advanced initiatives and policy approaches toward a decarbonized society. Drawing on the insights acquired through the program, they will analyze key challenges and develop potential solutions, the outcomes of which will be presented at the final presentation session on September 4.
