Q1. I'm worried about my English skills, but can I take the course?
A.
Yes, of course you can.
Not all students are good at English from the beginning. Many students have challenged the English-based program and greatly improved their English skills. By the time you complete the GRM program, you will be more confident in your English.
Q2. On which campus will GRM courses be held, Imadegawa or Kyotanabe?
A.
Many courses are conducted online in real-time, so you can consider registering without worrying about the campus location. Additionally, face-to-face classes held on either campus are often intensive lectures. Please review the syllabus and consider registering accordingly.
Q3. Can I complete this program in one year, if I register 5 courses and earn 10 credits?
A.
Yes, you can complete the program in a year.
If you earn all the required credits for course completion, it is possible to finish within one year. Please plan your studies in conjunction with your affiliated graduate school and consider your options.
Q4. Isn't it better to focus deepening my expertise in graduate school?
A.
Deepening your expertise is of course important.
On the other hand, it is also important to acquire a wide range of knowledge outside of your specialized field, as well as the basic ability to think from a multifaceted perspective.
In society, there is a growing demand for practical abilities to integrate knowledge from various fields, and to deal with diverse and complex problems.

Q1.英語力に自信がありません。それでも履修出来ますか？
A.
はい、もちろんできます。
これまで英語を使う機会が少なく、苦手意識があるかもしれませんが、履修生もはじめから英語が得意だったわけではありません。多くの履修生が英語で学ぶGRMに挑戦し、自身の英語力を大きく伸ばしています。GRMコースを修了するころには苦手意識もきっと払拭されていることでしょう。
Q2. GRMコースの科目は、今出川か京田辺のどちらの校地で開催されますか？
A.
多くの科目はリアルタイムにオンラインで実施されます。そのため、校地を気にすることなく登録を検討することができます。また、どちらかの校地で行われる授業も集中講義が多いです。シラバス等を確認のうえ、登録を検討してください。
Q3. 5科目10単位を１年で履修し、コースを修了することもできますか？
A.
はい、できます。コース修了に必要な単位をすべて修得すれば1年での修了も可能です。所属研究科での学びと併せて、学習計画を立てて検討してください。
Q3. 大学院では、専門性を深めることに注力した方がいいのではないですか？
A.
大学院生として専門性を深めることは当然重要です。一方で、専門分野以外の幅広い知識を身につけ、複眼的な視野で思考できる基盤的な能力も重要です。社会では、様々な分野の知識を融合し、多様で複雑化した諸問題に対応できる実践的な能力がより求められています。
